Force Urbania Rental wrote this guide from the questions groups ask before they book. How many bags fit in a Force Urbania depends on the size you book and on how big your bags are. The 10, 12 and 17 seaters carry about one medium bag per seat, and the Luxury 9 seater carries up to nine large bags. If you are unsure, tell us how many people and bags and we will say which size works.
1Luggage space by vehicle size
2Medium bags and large suitcases are not the same
A large suitcase takes up more room than a medium bag. If most of your group is travelling with large suitcases, count each one as more than a single medium bag and move up a size. The numbers above are a guide for typical trips, not a promise for every combination.
3How to count your luggage
- Count the people travelling.
- Count the checked suitcases, then add cabin bags and anything extra, such as shopping.
- Compare the total with the figures for each size.
- If you are close to the limit, choose the next size up so nobody travels with a bag on their lap.
4When to book a bigger vehicle or a second one
If your total is over the 17 seater’s space, or you have bulky gear, it is better to plan two vehicles than to overload one. Tell us in your enquiry and we will quote both options.
?Frequently asked questions
How many suitcases fit in the 12 seater?
About twelve medium bags. If most of your group has large suitcases, you will fit fewer, so tell us the mix and we will confirm.
Can I bring a pram or a golf bag?
Usually yes, but tell us when you enquire so we can check that it fits with the rest of your luggage.
Which vehicle has the most luggage space?
The 17 seater carries the most, about seventeen medium bags. The Luxury 9 seater has less space because more of the cabin goes to comfort.
What if my group is just over the limit?
Book the next size up, or two vehicles. Overloading makes the trip uncomfortable for everyone.
