Force Urbania Rental meets visitors from the USA at Delhi airport with a driver and a written fare. Most visitors from the USA reach India after a flight of about 14 to 16 hours and land in Delhi tired and unsure where to find their ride. This guide covers that first stretch: where you land, what the time difference does to your first day, and how a driver waiting at arrivals changes the start of the trip.

Everything here is practical, not promotional. Confirm your own flight times with your airline, and send us your flight number so the pickup is planned around your actual landing.

Landing at Delhi airport

Delhi’s international airport is Indira Gandhi International (DEL). Most international airlines use Terminal 3, but check your ticket or boarding pass for the terminal on the day.

Allow an hour or more between landing and walking out: immigration, baggage and customs all take time after a long flight. Tell us your flight number and the driver follows the actual landing time, so a delay does not leave you waiting alone.

The drive from the airport to central Delhi is usually 30 to 60 minutes, and longer in rush hour. Your driver knows the quickest approach for your hotel.

Frequently asked questions

Which terminal will I land at in Delhi?

Most international airlines use Terminal 3 at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Check your boarding pass, because airlines can change terminals.

I land in the middle of the night. Will someone be there?

Yes. Give us your flight number and the driver is at arrivals for the actual landing time, including night and early-morning arrivals.

Can I book the car before I leave the USA?

Yes. Send your dates, arrival flight and group size and we reply with availability and a written quotation before anything is booked.

Do I need an international driving permit?

No. Every booking includes a professional driver, so you do not need to drive in India.

Is the fare agreed before I fly?

Yes. We confirm availability and send a written quotation before you travel.
